You can always post your thoughts here on Cleveland SMC, but if you've got a social media story to tell—and the ability to tell it well—why not also share it with the world through the Welcome to Social Media Blog?

The Welcome to Social Media Blog was created in 2009 to share insights, ideas, observations and tips regarding social media and social networking.

Topics covered may include, but are not limited to:

• Social Media in the news
• Services such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
• Professional best practices
• Tips for collaboration
• Networking strategies
• Personal observations and anecdotes

The Welcome to Social Media Blog aims to provide accurate and timely observations on social media and related issues. As such we are looking for Cleveland Social Media Club members who are experienced bloggers/writers with crisp communications skills and a penchant for using social media. We're not looking for social media experts—just real people who have a way with words and use social media on a regular basis.

To apply to become an author, simply fill out the application form. The Welcome to Social Media team will review applications on a monthly basis.
