I'd like to learn more about this group and explore if I might like to join.

I missed the meeting Saturday. My morning commitment ran into the afternoon. How did the meeting go?

You guys all seem to have a good handle on this. I'm looking forward to our meeting tomorrow. I may be a few minutes late, because of an earlier commitment, but I will definitely be there.

Hey, I got a link to the State of Ohio for the Federal Stimulus money. The state wants proposals for this Federal money. I will share with everyone tomorrow.

I think it should be the blueprint for initiatives like this. I know it will be for the projects I work on.

I suggest everyone working on this project read George's book written with Jack. This is the approach we should be taking since it isn't dependent on this crazy crap. PLEASE...need to be educated on social media...isn't that the main problem? Should we really need to do that? What rock have they been hiding under? The Moses Cleaveland statue? In this economy I think we need to push social media ventures in addition finding new ways to get things like this off the ground and using social media apps to do just that.

Ultimately the State of Ohio/Third Frontier fund may not be the right group to be pitching this to (especially if we have to spend our limited time on educating them re: social media), but at the least we've gotten our thoughts down in a collaborative way.

Looking ahead, who else should we be talking about this to? Is there federal money (Congressman Ryan's Tech Belt Initiative)? Venture Capital? Angel investors?

I am cautiously optimistic that TechLift will help. But this is a new technology and industry to them and they may not see the ultimate benefit of it. We have greate momentum on our side. Seems Twitter and Facebook and others are in the news daily (both good and bad). We need to take this time with TechLift to educate them and educate them well.

I say if we can't get regional cooperation we find a way to go directly to Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher who is supposed to oversee OH economic development.
