"Wow. I'm glad I signed up immediately. It looked like a good opportunity to catch up with everyone but I'm also currently mulling over devices and whether to get the Droid X or the Droid 2 (am leaning towards the X.)"

Who do you, how do you #followfriday?

As most of you know #followfriday is a weekly Twitter meme in which Twitter users suggest other cool people to follow as designated by the #followfriday #hashtag.

I discover many interesting people by following such recommendations, but lately the meme has been getting some… Continue

Is lazy the new trend in social media marketing?

We all get followed on Twitter and elsewhere for marketing purposes. Between the passionate marketing evangelists, and the folks who auto-follow on rather non specific terms as "dog" or "food" we've all gotten our share. But yesterday I got a request on Last.fm that suggests such marketing laziness is growing.

Here's how it began. A friend request arrived from Last.fm. I clicked through to see who it was. It was some 19 year old lass from NYC who I'd never heard of. But that's O.K.… Continue

I'm hoping to make some converts. I have this idea stuck in my head that ning sites and twitter are really great ways for families to stay in touch. Like online family reunions. And thank you for follow and friending. We will chat soon, I hope. Did you get to meetup this morning?

Great to meet you last night Heidi!
And nicely done with using your own images for the social media icons in your contact section. I hadn't seen Ning's Advanced tab in the Appearance section (for enabling custom CSS.)
