- Well, it all started in the first grade when I spent numerous hours facing the wall in front of the pencil sharpener as punishment for...talking. Since then, I've refined my verbal delivery and added in the skill of listening - both critical for a professional communicator.
Now, speaking is part of what I do on a regular basis - in front of clients, prospects, at professional organization events and at my alma mater, Kent State University.
